Flinders NT is commited to providing opportunties to current medical students to live, study and work in the North Territory through the Flinders Regional Training Hub (RTH) and Centre for Remote Health.
The Flinders NT Regional Training Hub employs a team of professional administrative and academic staff across the NT to address medical workforce misdistribution provide support to strengthen the integrated regional training pipeline.
Our aim is to identify medical students, graduates and Junior Medical Officers who want to continue their medical training and work in the Territory and facilitate them into the postgraduate workforce in the NT.
Flinders University offers postgraduate award courses through the Centre for Remote Health. These courses aim to improve the health status of populations in rural and remote areas by appropriate education of the health workforce.
The Centre islocated in Alice Springs, Northern Territory and the catchment area is Territory-wide and includes cross-border areas in South Australia and Western Australia.
