Voxon Photonics CEO Will Tamblyn.
Voxon Photonics graduated from NVI's Venture Dorm program in 2014 and has gone on to secure more than $1 million in investment from Australian investors. They have created the world’s most advanced 3D volumetric display—inspired by the holograms in the original Star Wars movie. Voxon Photonics now employs six full-time staff.
“Over the last few years, the business model that we pitched at Venture Dorm has been expanded and verified and we are now shipping our product around the world.”
There are no limits to what Voxon Photonics can achieve. Their technology could make an impact in engineering, architecture, medical imaging, art and museums, big data visualisation, bio-chemistry, gaming and even the humble living room.
Flinders New Venture Institute can help you form links to business and government. Your research can have an impact as you work with industry partners here and in Asia, Europe and North America.
You could also become eligible for alternative sources of funding, including new areas of government grants.
