Flinders University has established the Karmel Endowment Fund which provides income for a wide range of University purposes including the funding of research projects, prizes to students and scholarships. Your gift will be managed by the Fund and will be used according to your wishes.
The responsibility for monitoring the Fund lies with the Chief Financial Officer, the University’s Finance Committee and Council. Performance reports are provided monthly by fund managers and reports are provided to each Finance Committee meeting to enable timely monitoring to occur.
Funds in the Endowment:
In this way your gift will continue into the future to support generations of students and researchers. All gifts go directly to the cause which the gift has been left to. None of the capital is used for administration costs.
Leaving a gift in your Will is often referred to as a bequest. There are two simple ways to remember the University in your Will:
If you don’t have a Will, then the first thing you should do is seek legal advice about creating one. The Public Trustee in your State or Territory can provide advice on making a Will and can help you find a solicitor.
