Many of our students choose to either live on-campus at the University, or off-campus in a nearby suburb.
You can apply either through the student exchange or study abroad program.
You will pay tuition fees to your home university.
The study abroad fee covers tuition, administrative costs, one academic transcript on completion and laboratory fees.
Flinders University charges a flat fee of AUD$2,500 per topic and students can enrol in a minimum of 3 topics and a maximum of 5 topics; the normal full time enrolment is 4 topics.
AUD$7,500 per semester for 13.5 Flinders units (equivalent to 3 topics)
AUD$10,000 per semester for 18 Flinders units (equivalent to 4 topics)
AUD$12,500 per semester for 22.5 Flinders units (equivalent to 5 topics)
Please note tuition fees do not include field trips, lecture notes, stationery, text books and course materials.
In light of current Government travel restrictions and ongoing uncertainty due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Flinders University has made the decision to suspend our inbound and outbound student mobility for 2021. Please contact the international office at your home university if you wish to be nominated for an exchange in 2022.

You will then confirm the topics you want to study. After this confirmation we will send a request to Enrolment Services for these topics to be included in your study plan. You will receive an email advising this request has been lodged.
You will then be advised when to start enrolling in topics and registering for classes.
Topic information will be available by late November each year. See the detailed timeline below.
