Eligibility
Applicants must:
- be commencing the first year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Maritime) (Honours) at Flinders University; and
- normally be enrolled full-time; and
- be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or permanent humanitarian visa holder; and
- have a minimum ATAR of 80 (after the addition of any bonus points), or equivalent score used to gain entry into the course.
Applications will be accepted from part-time students who have extenuating circumstances that prevent them from studying full-time (e.g. disabilities, carer responsibilities). Part-time recipients will be paid pro-rata for a maximum of 2 years.
Selection Criteria
The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Selection will be made in accordance with procedures approved by the Director, Student Administration.
Tenure
The scholarship will be valid for one year.
Leave
Leave from the scholarship can be taken concurrently with leave from study for a maximum of one semester.
