Flinders University’s cultural collections are vital to education, research and engaging with our community. They provide an enriched learning experience for our students and document our community’s dedication to social justice, inclusion and academic rigour. The Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA) and the Flinders University Library are hubs for intellectual discovery, development and new ideas - transforming the learning and discovery experiences of our students, academics, researchers and community. They provide powerful stimulus for enquiry and debate and are a catalyst for cross disciplinary interaction.
Your support will ensure valuable learning resources, innovative programs and cultural collections are strengthened now and preserved for future generations.
Flinders University Museum of Art (FUMA) is the cultural heart of the University, and custodian of more than 8,000 original works of art, including nationally significant Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander work
Exhibitions and programming highlight the four major collection areas: contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art; European prints; Post-object and documentation art; and Australian political prints and posters.
We invite you to visit FUMA, a free, inclusive and welcoming place open to the public or explore the collection, exhibitions and programs online.
FUMA relies on the generosity of our community to shape the collection through donations to the Art Museum and Gallery Fund and through cultural gifts.
Visit FUMA 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and until 7pm on Thursdays, or by appointment.
