Enriching space and place.
Works of art from the FUMA Collections are available for loan in approved University spaces at Bedford Park, Tonsley and Victoria Square.
This includes in secure, public areas such as reception and meeting rooms as well as in the private offices of senior University staff. Artwork is generally not available for tearooms, corridors or teaching spaces, or in any areas that cannot be easily monitored.
Art rental requests are handled in prescribed periods in Semester 1 (mid-March) and Semester 2 (mid-August).
Contact FUMA via email at any time to register interest and we will work closely with you through the process.
To better understand your requirements and preferences in the first instance, one of our team will engage with you and visit your space in person. We will take aesthetic, environmental and security considerations into account in making recommendations.
For larger building projects and/or refurbishments, we suggest contacting FUMA during the development phase to explore options and ensure optimal outcomes. FUMA can also provide advice regarding the commissioning of artists and delivery of site-specific projects.
Fees are levied on all internal loans to recoup the costs of preparing and installing artworks. Fees are incurred once when the loan is set up.
The cost of the loan will vary depending the type of artwork selected and where it is to be installed. As a general rule a minimum fee of $175 per artwork will apply
Once locations and selections have been made FUMA will organise the loan form, which will include Terms and Conditions below.
The loan form needs to be signed and returned to FUMA before artwork is released
