Join us for a floortalk with curator Vivien Johnson and artists Candy Nelson Nakamarra and Narlie Nelson Nakamarra
Streets of Papunya, celebrates the renaissance of painting in Papunya, Central Australia, since the establishment of Papunya Tjupi Arts in 2007. This exhibition and accompanying book showcase the women at the forefront of this revival and highlight the family connections of these rising art stars with the founders of the desert art movement at Papunya in the 1970s.
