In celebration of International Museum Day and as part of South Australia’s History Festival, join us for a talk on the work of the late Polish-born, Adelaide artist Lidia Groblicka.
In particular, Groblicka’s linocut Mother Tree (1972) will be discussed in connection to the plight of mothers from the displaced persons camps of post-WWII Europe who migrated to Australia in the 1950s.
