Congratulations to our 2019 Alumni Award Recipients

The Flinders University Alumni Awards acknowledge the significant contributions made by our graduates to the community, the University or within their chosen field, locally, nationally and internationally. The Awards include the Convocation Medal and Distinguished Alumni Awards.

The achievements of nine outstanding Flinders University graduates, across a range of professions, were acknowledged at the 2019 Flinders University Alumni Award ceremony. The event was held in the Mortlock Chambers of the State Library of South Australia on Thursday 27 February.

The former Alumni Association introduced Flinders University Distinguished Alumni Awards to coincide with the University’s 40th Anniversary in 2006. The Awards recognise alumni who have distinguished themselves in one or more of the ways listed under the following selection criteria.

  • Humanitarian services and contributions to society
