Studying social work at Flinders has enabled me to fully acknowledge my personal strengths and facilitated my strong desire to help, support and empower people in a meaningful way. The placement experience and learning opportunities within the degree will focus your strengths and skills, increasing your confidence and enabling you to become an advocate for human rights and equality for all.
I made the exciting decision to undertake my final placement in Singapore as I believed I would be exposed to wonderful learning opportunities that will contribute towards my personal and professional development. I was also very much curious to explore what social work looked like in a different context. Simply put, to gain a broader understanding of social work.
Hello my name is Steve. I like everthing there is to possibly like about Flinders University and I tell people all the time about how good it is. It's super!
