“Effective communication is of the utmost importance in healthcare. I found this topic both challenging and rewarding having Professor Christine Dennis push me outside of my comfort zone. This topic has taught me the key communication concepts and skills required to communicate at a higher level in the workplace. This includes leading effective meetings, have difficult conversations, engaging staff and driving change. I have developed formal communication skills which has enabled me to have crucial conversations with the higher executive team, but also provided me with strategies for crisis management. I highly recommend this topic.”
