Course content

What does it take to make a successful short film? Dr Tom Young takes you through post-production: editing, sound and colour grading.

Post-production is where a film really comes together, while it can be challenging, it is also very rewarding. This short course will step you through all the phases of post-production, from editing to sound design, colour grading and delivery. We will cover both the technical and procedural aspects of post-production, as well discussing creative problem solving.

Assessment

This short course is project based. Throughout the course students will work on their own short film or video. To make the most of this experience students are required to meet production milestones in a timely manner and respond to feedback during the short course. At the end of each short course students are given an opportunity to present their final work.
