Shoulder Rehabilitation

Who should attend?

Health professionals working in the field or interested in working in the field of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation.

Course content

Focusing on both neurological and musculoskeletal recovery of the shoulder, this online course will review the anatomy of the shoulder.

Management strategies for shoulder function, pain and spasticity will be discussed, as well as exercise prescription for use in inpatient, outpatient and community settings.

Learning outcomes

• Review the musculoskeletal anatomy of the shoulder.
• Explore latest evidence in relation to spasticity and pain management.
• Provide practical management strategies and ideas for exercise prescription for those with neurological or musculoskeletal shoulder deficit.
• Review the neuroscience of motor recovery.

Participants will be eligible to earn CPD points for professional association and registration requirements.
