The Adelaide Fringe, born 56 years ago, has grown up to become the southern hemisphere’s largest open access arts festival. Flinders is a long standing supporter of the Fringe and we also delighted to open our doors and heart in holding a number of free Fringe on Tour performances on campus.

Flinders University and the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge partnership ushers in a new generation of solar vehicles, via the world’s pre-eminent solar challenge race from Darwin to arrive in Adelaide. Flinders is using cutting-edge research in developing an inaugural solar car, the ‘Flinders Automotive Solar Team (FAST)’ to race in 2017.
Flinders’ partnership with South Adelaide Football Club helps strengthen community-based activities within the southern Adelaide region.
The partnership provides access to latest thinking and methodologies across a range of areas, including physical education and nutrition, through research student placements.
