The First Wave book launch in London

On Thursday, 20 June 2019 Flinders University Alumni attended The First Wave Book Launch and Alumni Reception at Australia House in London. The event was hosted by Vice-Chancellor, Professor Colin J Stirling, with guest speakers including Flinders University's Dr Gillian Dooley (Editor, The First Wave), and from the University of Oxford, Professor Elleke Boehmer and Dr Alastair Niven. Special guests included Lisette Flinders-Petrie, Matthew Flinders’ great-great granddaughter.
