Why study Network and Cybersecurity Systems at Flinders
The demand for graduates able to design, implement, maintain and manage networked computer systems is growing rapidly.
All our Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Computer Science degrees are accredited by the Australian Computer Society at the professional level. Professional ICT courses accredited by the Australian Computer Society are recognised internationally under the Seoul Accord. Graduates meet the academic requirements for attaining chartered status as ICT professionals.
The need for cyber professionals has birthed a new employment market in our country. Flinders is focused on delivering a world-class online cybersecurity curriculum that exposes students to cutting-edge developments in communications technology.
Our focus on cybersecurity supports the Australian Government’s 2016 Cyber Security Strategy, which is centred on building our national capabilties in cyber threat detection and response and working with businesses to address the shortage of cyber skills in Australia.
