Admission to all courses is limited by quota and is normally based on academic merit as determined by assessment of an applicant’s qualifications.
If you have completed SACE, the Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) is normally used.
In some courses other criteria, such as subject pre-requisites, an interview, audition or portfolio submission also apply. For information on such course requirements, see course information in the SATAC Guide and course information pages.
All applications for undergraduate courses are submitted through the South Australian Tertiary Admissions Centre (SATAC).
If you’re still at high school, your school career counsellor can help you with your application and they’ll have the latest SATAC University Guide.
International students currently studying Year 12 in Australia can apply via SATAC but will need to select the International Year 12 option. If you are an international student studying overseas, please see our international students website for entry requirements and application information.
