The Master of Accounting meets the admission requirements of the Certified Practising Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia), Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA).
The degree offers the right balance of practice and theory to prepare you for a successful career as an accounting or business professional. Topics cover areas such as accounting fundamentals, information systems and accounting processes, quantitative methods, economics for business, management and cost accounting, principles of commercial law, financial accounting issues, financial management, corporate accounting, auditing and assurances, and business research methods. A topic in academic skills for business is specifically aimed at postgraduate students from non-English speaking backgrounds.
