The course prepares graduates for entry to the Australasian College of Health Service Management in the associate fellow membership category and assists medical practitioners to enter the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
The combined degree course requires the completion of 72 units of study. The program can be completed in two years of full-time study (or the equivalent part-time). Core topics cover areas such as accounting for managers, managing people, health law and ethics, and health and aged care operations management. The program is offered by the Flinders College of Business, Government and Law and the College of Medicine and Public Health.
You will investigate advanced issues in management, develop knowledge and skills to conduct independent industry- and discipline-related management projects and/or research, and relate your learning to your individual organisational experience.
