A/Prof Lucy Lewis is a registered physiotherapist and an experienced educator in physiotherapy who loves to find new and interesting ways to teach students about physiotherapy and health.
Lucy is an active researcher and member of the Flinders Caring Futures Institute and the Flinders Sport, Health, Activity, Performance and Exercise (SHAPE) Research Centre.
Course Coordinator & Senior Lecturer: Matt Sutton
Matt is currently Course Coordinator and Senior Lecturer for the Master of Physiotherapy program at Flinders University. He also works as an Advanced Scope Physiotherapist in the Emergency Department at the Flinders Medical Centre, a role he has been in for over six years.
Placement Education Coordinator & Lecturer: Claire Baldwin
Claire is a researcher-teacher-clinician with experience in education from the classroom to the clinic. She also enjoys connecting research with practice. While Claire's own area of expertise is in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy and work in the acute hospital setting, she has a broad network of professional connections and has held a number of leadership roles at state and national levels of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. She enjoys working to support students and placement providers/supervisors to achieve excellence in patient outcomes and their own practice.
Student Experience Coordinator/Lecturer: Tracey Radford
Tracey is a Teaching Specialist and Clinical Practitioner in the Master of Physiotherapy program at Flinders University. She boasts a 30+ year career as a clinical physiotherapist working mainly in acute care and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Knowledge of SACE Stage 2 Biology and Physics or equivalent is assumed.

All Master of Physiotherapy program graduates are eligible for registration as a Physiotherapist in Australia. Registration requirements in other countries vary from country to country.
Yes, students are required to complete clinical placements in the Masters of Physiotherapy program.
Both the Bachelor of Health Sciences/Master of Physiotherapy and the Master of Physiotherapy require two years of full-time study and are not offered externally or on a part-time basis.
You can undertake either a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Therapy Studies) or a Bachelor of Exercise Science (with an allied health specialisation) and on completion, be eligible for entry into the Master of Physiotherapy.
Please note, completion of these alternative degrees does not guarantee entry into the double degree or Master of Physiotherapy program and entry is competitive base on Grade Point Average (GPA).
