The Year 11 Grades Admission Pathway has been put in place to ensure that students who may have been put under pressure due to the difficulties of study under Covid 19, have every opportunity to apply for university and pursue the career they’ve always dreamed of.
Due to the social and educational disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Flinders University will continue to offer the Year 11 Grades Admission Pathway for 2022 entry, in addition to the existing range of entry pathways.
Students undertaking Year 12 in 2021 will be able to apply. If successful, the pathway will provide an early conditional offer into study at Flinders University in 2022.
The University is continuing to accept applications for entry under the Year 11 grades admission pathway. Applicants should note that consideration for entry to the Bachelor of Nursing (Pre Registration) will depend on places being available in later offer rounds. Other courses may be closed at short notice.

Complete the online form below – make sure that you include your preferred course and you and your parent/caregiver tick all the boxes. For combined degrees please select the ‘primary’ degree for your preferred combination as listed on our combined degrees page. Flinders will do the rest. Your school will provide your Year 11 grades to Flinders University.
Apply through SATAC and place your preferred course as your first preference.
All current Year 12 students in South Australian and Northern Territory schools. In addition Year 12 students from Victorian and New South Wales border schools are eligible to apply.

The following degrees are excluded from the Year 11 grades admissions pathway:
*Students interested in studying law should apply for the Bachelor of Laws (244241) or the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice (244111) through this pathway.

When completing the online form below, please select the ‘primary’ degree for your preferred combination as listed on our combined degrees page. When completing your SATAC application you will also need to select the ‘primary’ degree and you will have the option to select your preferred combined option. If successful through this pathway, Flinders will do the rest, matching your Year 11 and SATAC applications.
You need to complete the South Australian Certificate of Education (or equivalent).
If you have completed Year 11 in Australia, this pathway is open to you.
You still need to complete any SACE Stage 2 (or IB, VCE or HSC equivalent) pre-requisite subjects or additional entry requirements relevant to your course. Your offer may include conditions based on you meeting these pre-requisite requirements, attending an audition or submitting a portfolio/statement.
1. Apply through SATAC listing your preferred course as your first preference.
2. Complete the online form for your conditional offer at Flinders by 30 September 2021. Late applications will be accepted until 31st October 2021.
3. Schools to provide results to Flinders in mid/late October 2021. For late applications, schools will be able to provide these in mid/late November 2021.
4. If you are successful you will receive your conditional offer in late November 2021. Please note any conditions in your letter. This may be delayed for late applications.
5. If you are successful, you will receive your confirmed offer via SATAC in December 2021. This may be delayed for late applications with confirmed SATAC offers more likely in January 2022.
6. Begin your University study in February 2022.
When you receive a conditional offer based on your year 11 grades, you can change your preferences at any time.
