Balance study and lifestyle

It’s not difficult to balance your outside life with uni. Many Flinders courses have online options and a level of flexibility so you can enjoy your current lifestyle while you study.

And life at Flinders can be fun. The Bedford Park campus has a great buzz, and the facilities are awesome. You can grab a drink at the Tav, grab a bite at one of the many food outlets, then work it all off in the gym.

There’s also a pharmacy on campus, child and parenting facilities, ATMs and a post office. Bedford Park has just about everything!

Flinders has various markets, concerts, movie screenings and other activities across the year, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to explore the campus and make new friends. The lake and the natural bush setting are perfect for walks, and there are heaps of places and spaces to just relax and enjoy views from the city to the coast.

If you like to keep active, physically and mentally, there are around 120 clubs (sporting and non-sporting) to join.

There are many students who have started at Flinders later in life, or who have returned to study. You’re sure to find like-minded people who understand your situation, and can help you really enjoy your time at Flinders.
