Why study Screen at Flinders
In partnership with Channel 44, and sponsored by Banks and Brown, Flinders students have created an exciting new television series.
Flinders graduates include award-winning actors, animators, directors, cinematographers, editors, producers and writers. Your diverse range of skills and portfolio of creative achievements will make you attractive to a wide range of employers in the arts and communication industries internationally.
I have a passion for film and television because they are such incredible mediums for creative storytelling. You can move people, change minds, and explore new universes in a way that can be totally absorbing to your audience. I chose Flinders because I was seeking a combination of both hands-on practical production as well as theory and analysis, plus they have a reputation for producing great graduates. I'm so glad I did because I've had really great lecturers who have real experience in the industry and a commitment to adapting and updating based on current trends and technology.
The best thing about this course has been getting to know the people in my class. We have worked in and out of University on many projects that I'm incredibly proud of. Being able to connect with a group of like-minded people who all have the same passion for creating has had such a positive impact on my life. The teachers are also incredible!
