If you have a bachelor degree or equivalent in a health profession and wish to develop your knowledge, preparedness and personal and professional response capability for local, national and international disaster events, then this is the program for you.
The disaster health care program has been developed by experts in the field who have disaster management and response experience. The program was developed as a collaboration between Flinders University and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre in response to limitations in existing disaster education and training for Australian health professionals.
This is the first program of its kind in the region that provides students with practical and theoretical knowledge in disaster response.
